waiting, we have abandoned the intention of sending

a cargo to Hong Kong until February, when the

installation at that port will no doubt be oom-

pleted in strict accordance with the Government

requirements, and under these circumstances we need

not further trouble the Marquess of Ripon to

telegraph to the Governor of Hong Kong.

We have once more to thank you for the

courtesy you have invariably extended to us, and

we beg to inform you that early in January three

of our Tank Steamers viz,-''TURBO''CONCH'' and

**MUREX' 'will pass through the Suez Canal, boimd

for various ports in the East.
